Bob has been helping clients with their financial needs since 2008. Prior to founding Rock Creek Wealth Management, Bob spent time focused on investment management as an advisor at Edward Jones Investments, and later on insurance planning as an advisor with the Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company. With this prior experience, Bob started Rock Creek Wealth Management focused on a singular goal, to create a truly independent client-focused comprehensive financial planning firm, free from proprietary financial products or investment banking activities.
Bob’s favorite part of the financial planning process is helping a client transition from working into retirement. His goal is to build lifelong relationships so he can be there to witness these steps throughout a client’s life, and then continue that relationship onto the next generation.
Bob graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and minors in Economics and Psychology. While at school, he served as president of the Kappa Xi chapter of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.
A resident of Hillsboro, Oregon, Bob serves on the board of directors of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and the board of directors for the Hillsboro Artists’ Regional Theatre.
LPL Registered Administrative Assistant
Laura has been an LPL Registered Administrative Assistant since February of 2015, and has prior industry experience beginning in 2013. She holds her Series 6, 63, and 51 registrations with LPL Financial and is registered in the state of Oregon.
Laura graduated summa cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University with departmental honors in Anthropology. Prior to transitioning into financial services, she worked as an Archaeologist on projects in Southern Oregon, Belize, and Colombia. While in Colombia, Laura adopted a village puppy named Luna who returned home with her to Oregon.
In her free time Laura enjoys playing with her dogs, baking, gardening, playing golf, and traveling. She enjoys helping clients with any and all questions they may have. Her favorite part of the job is getting to know all of them and working as part of a team to help them work towards their financial goals.
Anne Snelling joined LPL Financial in 2007 and has been in the financial services industry since 2005. Anne supports both our
clients and Bob, and is a great resource for any questions you may have. A native Californian, Anne’s first career was as a mom and Navy wife. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University while her family was stationed in Florida. Anne enjoys numerous outdoor activities including hiking, skiing, and paddling with the Hood River Outrigger Canoe Club. She also enjoys cooking and making jams in the summertime.
